LION privacy policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
LION (full name LIFION) is a browser extension. It compares the swap you are about to make on Uniswap, GMGN, Sushi, PancakeSwap, Four.meme, Flap and Pons with LI.FI’s best route, and lets you swap through LI.FI with your own wallet.
LION has no servers of its own, no accounts, no analytics and no ads. It does not sell or share your data, and it sends nothing to its developer. What it handles stays in your browser, or goes straight from your browser to the services that make a quote or a swap possible.
What LION reads
- On the seven supported sites (app.uniswap.org, gmgn.ai, www.sushi.com, pancakeswap.finance, four.meme, flap.sh, ponsfamily.com): the tokens, chains and amount in the site’s trade form, the site’s own quote, and, on the launchpads, what the site says a token is priced in. That is all it needs to compare.
- On any other website: nothing, unless you open LION’s popup there. Then it reads the tab’s address, and starts LION’s swap helper in that tab so your wallet in the page can sign.
- From your wallet: your public wallet address: when you connect the wallet in LION, or, without a prompt, when that wallet has already given the site you are on access to it (wallets answer that read without asking). LION never sees your private keys or recovery phrase. Every approval and every swap is shown in your wallet, and nothing is sent until you confirm it there.
What LION sends, and to whom
- LI.FI (li.quest), for quotes, route lists, token lists, the swap transaction and the swap’s status: the tokens, chains, amount and slippage, your wallet address (a placeholder address before you connect), LION’s integrator name and fee, and, to follow a swap, its transaction hash. LI.FI’s own privacy policy covers that data: li.fi/legal/privacy-policy.
- Public blockchain RPC endpoints (the ones LI.FI lists for each chain, or ones you set in LION): read-only requests such as balances, token allowances, token details and transaction receipts.
- Token and chain logos on the Swap page, loaded from the image addresses in LI.FI’s token and chain lists.
- Your wallet: the approval or swap transaction, for you to confirm.
These requests go out from your browser, so the services that answer them see your IP address, as with any request a web page makes.
What LION stores
- In your browser’s extension storage: your settings (which sites are on, slippage, how token approvals are made, language, whether the card starts folded, an optional LI.FI API key, optional RPC addresses, the wallet you chose for each site and for the Swap page) and the last pair you used on the Swap page.
- For a swap in progress: its details and progress, in session storage, so a page reload does not lose track of it. Chrome clears session storage when the browser closes or the extension updates.
None of this leaves your browser. “Restore defaults” in LION’s settings resets the settings and forgets the wallets; removing the extension deletes everything it stored.
Your own LI.FI API key
If you enter one in LION’s settings, it is stored in your browser and sent only to the API address set in LION, as the x-lifi-api-key header.
Chrome Web Store user data policy
LION’s use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Children
LION is not meant for children under 13.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a change in what LION handles is noted in the extension’s release notes.

LION(全称 LIFION)是一个浏览器扩展。
- 在 7 个支持的站点上(app.uniswap.org、gmgn.ai、www.sushi.com、pancakeswap.finance、four.meme、flap.sh、ponsfamily.com):页面交易表单里的币种、链和数量,页面自己的报价;在发射台上,还有页面写明的代币计价币。
这些数据适用 LI.FI 自己的隐私政策:li.fi/legal/privacy-policy。
LI.FI API key
Chrome
